OCTOBER ALUMNI CASH MOB: Our Fall Cash Mob will be held at Isaly’s II (3310 Kent Rd.) on Wednesday, Oct. 8th at 11:00 am. We’ll order off the menu – isalyscafe.com. Plan Ahead…ALUMNI CHRISTMAS DINNER: Join fellow alumni for dinner and a relaxing evening on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 5:30 pm at Ryes and Shine (Previously the Silver Swan at 2704 Front St. in the Falls). We’ll order from a limited menu. Reservations are required and due no later than December 5th. Hope to see you there!
YEARBOOK DONATIONS AND SALES:
The SMFHS Alumni Association receives requests for yearbooks. Currently there are 100+ alumni looking for 1941-2019 Stoanno’s. If you have a Stoanno that you no longer need please consider a donation to the Alumni Association which in turn supports our scholarship fund. Many thanks to Sandy Brown, Dave Ferrell, Bob Oziomek, Chris Stube Bellman, Cynthy Klesa Mandl, Lynn Christopher Beaujon, Nicole Husted Marcum and an anonymous donor for the yearbook and memorabilia donations! As yearbooks are donated to the association they are posted on our facebook page and in the newsletter. Contact Cheryl if you’d like to donate or purchase a yearbook. Currently available on a first-come first-served basis are 51, 52, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 65, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 81, 82, 87, 88, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 12 and 13 Stoanno’s.
Yearbooks are $15 (Cuyahoga Falls pick up) or $25 (includes postage).
Also available are Kimpton 74-75, Kimpton 75-76, Kimpton 76-77 and Fishcreek 79-80. Kimpton and Fishcreek yearbooks are $10.
COACH DICK BLAKE’S FOOTBALL TAPES
Coach Blake donated 11 football reel to reel tapes to the association. Included are 1963, 1966-1970 (specific game list available). These tapes can be transferred to a thumb drive for viewing. The alumni association is willing to pay to have them transferred if there is interest. Cost for the thumb drive tbd. Let Cheryl know if you are interested.
MR. COOLEY’S CONCERT TAPES: One of our alumni has choir concert tapes. If anyone is interested please let me know.
The Alumni Association continues to support Bulldog Bags. This all volunteer group provides a bag of food twice a month throughout the school year to eligible students in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District. 10 + alumni volunteer twice a month and are much appreciated! We are honored to be a part of this community organization and thankful for the opportunity to give back to our community.
